The first accredited online Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Aramaic courses offered by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and eTeacherGroup
Starting January 2010, the Hebrew University , in collaboration with eTeacher, will offer its very first accredited online Biblical languages courses to overseas students.
The Biblical Hebrew online program, facilitated by eTeacher’s Biblical Hebrew campus is now part of the Hebrew university accredited courses and is fully recognized by the faculty of humanities.
In accordance with the University’s academic requirements the program includes obligatory attendance, paper submissions and examinations and will award students 4 credit points.
The academic program is headed by Dr. Ohad Cohen of the Hebrew University, an award winning teacher and scholar in the field of Biblical Hebrew and eTeacher’s ClassicalHebrew Academic Director.
To date eTeacher is the only e-learning company providing the Hebrew University with live online courses for its students. This is especially noteworthy due to the fact that the 91 year old Hebrew University and its faculty of humanities are listed among the top 100 Universities in the world.
